Dr Marcela Cox
Dr Marcela Cox graduated in 1990 with First Class Honours from The University of Sydney. She has a special interest, training and experience in children's and women's health.
Dr Cox provides pregnancy care for women through the Shared Antenatal Program at RPAH Women & Babies and enjoys assisting women with gynaecological, contraceptive and menopause issues.
Dr Cox regularly inserts IUDs and Implanons.
When not in practice, Dr Cox is involved in general practitioner assessment and maintenance of general practice standards.
Marcela’s qualifications:
Family Planning Certificate
Certificate of Advanced training in Women’s Health (RACGP)
Fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (awarded medal for the highest mark in the RACGP examinations)
Diploma of Child Health (University of Sydney)
Marcela’s interests:
Women’s Health - including all contraceptive options (incl. IUDs) and menopause management
